There are a lot of organizations existing in Delhi but the name of Rajasthan Club stands apart .The main objective behind setting up of this club was to establish a neat platform with a family atmosphere, where both the husband and his wife give active contribution to make the Club an entertaining, social ,academic and a cultural organization, promoting Culture and social values.
Before the establishment of the Club, in Indian Society, especially in the Rajasthan’s culture, females used to be behind the curtains, involved in household activities. It was only the male dominant society where the male members were the leader. The Club Founders broke this line and took a pledge to start a new tradition with enrolment of both husband & wife as members and giving Females a chance to rub shoulders with Men and contribute towards the activities of the Club. This was a mission to bridge the gap between an old age tradition with the modern one.
Taking a cue from the above , Shri Suresh Singhania, Shri. Mohan Lal Gupta , Shri Badri Pershad Goel and Shri Vinod Puri, met late Shri T.P Jhunjhunwalaand after various round of discussions about aims & objectives, constitution and logo the foundation of RAJASTHAN CLUB was laid on 1st October, 1968. The 1st Club Office was established at Haider Quli , Chandni Chowk, Delhi-110006 which was continued for next several years to carry out club activities etc. It was here that the charter of the club along with the logo was defined and designed too.

The ladies themselves sit on the Stalls which gives it an elegant look, Diwali Mela was based on the Indian Dance theme called Dandiya collaborated with some other Dance forms, the venue lit up beautifully and decorated with Rajasthani décor made the whole look of the Mela so exotic.
